Content Deployment Job - Stuck in Preparing phase
Content deployment job stuck in preparing phase. I double checked all settings I know, but no luck
1. Temp folder is on system drive and there is sufficent disk space on it
2. The target is a blank site collection created using stsadm command
Not sure what is causing the issue. Any help is much appriciated.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply Emir. But I did set the export server in Content Deployment Settings. And my source and target are different site collections in the same farm and server. So my export and import servers are the same. I am also accepting the incoming
content deployment job.
About the hotfix, I have SharePoint 2007 version 12.0.0.6524 installed on my machine which is December 2009 CU. Do I still need to install this hotfix?
Thanks

PermissionMask check failed. asking for 0x00000015, have 0x00011001
PermissionMask check failed. asking for 0x00000041, have 0x00011001
Any idea on what permissions its failing?

Hi SriSow,
This issue occurs most likely you haven’t set an export server in Content Deployment settings under Operations on the Central Administration
Web Site.
Please install the hotfix in this
KB953750, and see how it works.
Best regards,
Emir
