Hi Everyone, I have two site backups files, one is english version and the other one is spanish version. And when i restore by using stsadm command the english site is restoring in the exising content database without any error. For ex if i have 3 content db earlier if i restore by using " stsadm -o restore -url http://test-01/sites/samplesite/ -filename "C:\Site Back\Eng_Site.dat" -overwrite" But when i try the similar command for my new URL its says add new content db since there is not content db present. Please note that I have done the same steps before for english version and it was successful. And if I add new content db the same command is working fine and the Spnish URL is up. I would like to know whether we have any dependecies for content db with respect to language? is any aditional columns which represent the spanish langage details hence it is not allowing you to use the existing content db ? please advice.Thanks and Regards, Royal Never work just for money or for power. The Spanish version needs to be in it's own web app with it's own database. That's why it's prompting you to create a new database when you restore it.I trust that answers your question... Thanks C http://www.cjvandyk.com/blog
