Hello,

I have a requirement to Approve the Publishing page using SharePoint Designer workflow.

I heard that Approval can be done by using REST API as "Set Content Approval" action is not available with SharePoint Designer 2013.

Can some one help me which REST method will be used to approve page using designer workflow.

Just in case, below is the cross-post of my answer on this question in another thread. Probably it helps somebody.

At the first glance it seems there is no documented REST API related to Approval. However, as I understand you can try to change the value of the "Approval Status" field directly using REST for updating item. The internal name of the field is "_ModerationStatus".
