Contact and User
I am attempting write the location of a contact to the altrecipient attribute of an AD user. The value in altrecipient is the DN of the actual contact but it is a reference type. I am using the hide from exchange attribute as a set for creation of the contact object. If value is true then the contact is created. I wanted to pull the DN back out and write it altrecipient value of the actual AD user. Since the DN is a string and not reference I cannot put it as an inbound flow. After looking around it seems I need to run a separate workflow activity on the AD object to update the altrecipient value. I believe this would happen in function evaluator of workflow but I am not quite sure. Any ideas.

Yes you could do this using the Function evaluator activity in an action workflowDavid Lundell, Get your copy of FIM Best Practices Volume 1 http://blog.ilmbestpractices.com/2010/08/book-is-here-fim-best-practices-volume.html
