This has been bugging me for a couple of weeks now and i cannot seem to fix it.
I have a couple of machines at my desk (optiplex 9020) And i cannot image them with anything, I get the following error in the SMSts.log
VerifyContentHash: Hash algorithm is 32780 ApplyOperatingSystem 8/18/2015 1:42:15 PM 1604 (0x0644) Hash could not be matched for the downloded content. ApplyOperatingSystem 8/18/2015 1:43:24 PM 1604 (0x0644)
The Hash mismatch does not happen on other machines. Just there 2 optiplex machines at my desk. Both machines have the same exact hash error (including the actual hash)
To attempt to fix the issue I have:
- Redeployed and verified content on the DPs,
- Remade the OSD task sequence.
- Re imported the image file changing the name and the image location
- Re-made the boot image
- Re-imported the NIC drivers
- Switched out HDD/SSD, and ram, and ever the mother board, on the problem machines.
- Newest BIOS is installed. as well as all default BIOS settings.
- Tried a Windows 8.1 task sequence
- Rebooted the Main server, as well as the local DP
I have tried everything i could think of. This used to work fine a couple weeks ago, it still does. Just not on the optiplex 9020. I have tried this on 2 different optiplex 9020 machines, and do not have a third one to play with.
Any clue? I am gripping at straws here.
