I have a SSIS package and i need to connect to a Named instance of a Sql Server to pull data.It is sql server authenticated and i have given the correct login id and password.I am able to see the database names in the dropdown list also. But,here comes the error when i a click on test connection. Is there anyone to help me with this,i.e i need to change any other properties if i need to connect to instance of sql server? The error i get is : Invalid authorization specification and invalid connection string attribute. I need some answers quickly.

>>I need some answers quickly OK but you really haven't given up much for us to answer. 1. does the account have access? just because you can see databases doesn't mean you can get into them 2. what provider and conn is showing that you are selecting - what version of SQL Server are you connecting to? 3. what version of SSIS 4. can you connect via SSMS nd run queries in the database you need? That should be a good starting pointTed Krueger Blog on lessthandot.com @onpnt on twitter Please click the Mark as Answer button if a post solves your problem!
