Hi, We are currently working on a website that needs advanced inventory management. The client has a SQL server 2005 setup at their workplace. The client has provided us access through VPN. First we connect using a VPN IP address , username and password. The we access an internal 192.168.xxx.xx IP which has the database. We log in on this PC using a user/pass. We are then able to manipulate the database. All this is done remotely. The Problem We need to have live synchronization between the web database and the client's workplace database ? is this achievable ? My developer seems to think that both the database need to be "LIVE" in order to do a proper synchronization. If this is achievable, are there any proper resources you could direct me to ? Any help is appreciated.
