Conflict Override
I don't have a SCOM server by hand now otherwise it should be easily figured out.
Here is the senario:
In SCOM 2007 R2. One computer group GRP1 contains server SRV1 and SRV2. GRP2 contains SRV1 only. There is a monitor in the MP which not enabled by default.
A override is set to enable that monitor for GRP1 while another override is set to disable the same monitor for GRP2.
The what is the monitor status on SRV1? My understanding is the monitor should be disabled. Correct?

If you're not sure with override, just create enforsed overrides for important objects.

you can check this by using resultant set of rules and also I believe there is a powershell command. However, I think in this case you are going to have to set the override to be enforced in order to get it to stick on that box.Regards, Blake Email: mengotto<at>hotmail.com Blog: http://discussitnow.wordpress.com/
