Configuring the FIM CM Service...but this one is missing
Dear all,
I've successfully installed FIM Certificate Management 2010 on my Windows 2008 Server R2, but I have now a problem with the configuration of FIM CM as a service (cf. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee534907%28WS.10%29.aspx).
Here are the steps, which are mentioned in the official documentation:
To configure FIM CM to use the domain user account
Log on as an administrator.
Click Start , click Run , type Services.msc , and then click
OK .
In Services (local) , right-click Certificate Management Service , and then click
Properties .
On the Certificate Management Service Properties page, on the
Log on tab, click This account .
In This account , type the name of the user account.
In Password , type the password of the user account.
In Confirm password , type the password again, and then click
OK .
My problem is that there is no "Certificate Management Service " in my services (local).
I can only see one service for FIM CM (FIM CM Update Service), but this service is not the correct one.
Do you know why "Certificate Management Service " is missing?
Thank you very much.
Regards,
-Franck
