Configuring MOSS 2007 for Internet Sites
Hi,We have a 3 Server MOSS 2007 64 bit farm, all three Win 2008 64 bit R2 virtual servers, 1 WFE, 1 App Server, 1 DB server running SQL Server 2008 64 bit SP1. We plan to create a public facing site out of this farm. MOSS and DB is installed and setup but web applications are not created. Is there any article/blog that have more information on setting this up. One of my doubts is whether to create a web application (non SSL) in the intranet zone with out the host header (www.mymosssite.com) and then extend this to internet zone (SSL) and apply this host header and IP address. What are the ports to be opened?Am I on the right track?Regards,Manoj
