Hi All,

Customer have a one Central site (CNT) and one child primary site (P01).

One more hierarchy is going to build which will be having central/primary (N01) and child primary (N02) and secondary sites (S02).

In future N01 will be pointing to CNT. Currently, customer wants that Asset Intelligence should be configured on N01. 

If we configure Asset Intelligence on N01 then later in future when N01 site will connect as child of CNT, what factors need to consider for Asset Intelligence perspective. I need clarification on the deployment (Asset Intelligence) process at the timing of joining N01 to CNT.

You should enable the AI Sync point on the central site and the AI mof classes on each of the primary sites.

Agreed. But customer wants this feature on N01 now which is totally different hierarchy. In future they will connect N01 to CNT. As a pro-activeness need your inputs.

Hello - I think, there is no complication in this. To better management we should try to enable same features in both the hierarchies.

Do I want to reconfigure/reinstall AIP again on central site when I connect N01 to CNT. Is there any adverse effect while importing MVLS information?

 

Yes, I know this is an old post, just trying to clean them up. Did you figure this out? If so how?
