Hello everyone I am currently trying to configure alerting rules and I was just wondering if there is anyway to exempt a server generating alerts without disabling the server alerts for all subscription. For example In one subscription I want all alerts from windows 2008 servers except for one server. While in another subscription I want all Windows 2008 server alerts including the exempt one. Is this possible in ops manager? In addition what is the best practice in organizing subscription and alerts. Thanks for the help!

Well if I have it right, you don't want one server to alert but for others to alert. So create your rule and make it disabled. Then create a group with the servers you want to rule to fire for. The override the rule with the group and set it to enabled.Paul Keely
