Configure Incoming email settings
I configured incoming email settings and enabled incoming email on some library, contacts created in OU inside AD, but when I send an email I got the following error:
A configuration error in the e-mail system caused the message to bounce between two servers or to be forwarded between two recipients.
Contact your administrator.
I feel the problem is exchange server isn't able to route the msg to SharePoint SMTP service.
should I do any configuration in exchange server?
am running on: server 2003, Exchange server 2003, Windows MOSS 2007

Hi,
This could be due to mail routing problem or some bad DNS records in your Exchange server.
Check the forwards for your Exchange Server 2003 (Internal MX records could
cause problems). This happens between 2 SMTP virtual servers due to a mail looping situation.
Removing all the forwards and test and finally reconstruct the forwards. For more help, check this link:
