Configuration for SQL Server memory usage
I am getting a warning message on pre-reqs for SCCM that SQL server is configured for unlimited memory usage. I have set the maximum limit to 3000MB in the management studio memory properties for the server. Is there anywhere else I should be changing this?

Where exactly have you set that? Plus 3GB is not enough memory. How many clients do you have to manage?

I'm just testing right now... So shouldn't the error go away as long as it is not set to unlimited?

If I remember right the min is 10 GB to make the warning message go away.

Technet docs are stating 8GB. I can't test it right now...

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh368980.aspx

Verifies that SQL Server reserves a minimum of 8 GB of memory for the central administration site and primary site, and a minimum of 4 GB of memory for the secondary site.

If the error is still persisting after you set the allocated Maximum memory, try entering a value in the Minimum field instead of 0.
