I've successfully was able to installed the CCM client on workstations in my network. When I go into the properties of the CCM it shows "config mgr connection type" unknown and "site mode" unknown. Are there any logs that I can reference too to figure out how to get the above mention recognized?

I'd start with ClientIDManagerStartup.log (see if the client registration was successful), LocationServices.log, ClientLocation.log and ccmexec.log.
