Configuration Manager 2007 R3 Schema Exension
Hi Team, I have gone to sccm 2007 R3 technical article under technet. They have mentioned that for installing configuration manager 2007 R3 schema extension is not needed. Please clarify me.. whether we need to extend the schema before we start the setup or not ? If it is not done what are the difficulities that we would face? Please help me on this. Thank You!

Hi, I guess you haven't extended the schema for SCCM, there is no need to extend it again when installing R3 if you already did it before. It is not a requirement but I strongly recommend doing it so you can use all features of SCCM, check out this article with describes why you should extend the Schema.
