Conditionally set Action=Report
Hi, I have an object with Action="Go to Report" however....I only want to give the report user the ability click through to the report if some condition evaluates to true. It seems that there is no ability to put an expression on the Action property. Hence, is there another to conditionally provide a link to another report? thanks Jamiehttp://sqlblog.com/blogs/jamie_thomson/ | @jamiet | About me

Hi Jamie, You can set the expression under "Specify a report" to something like: =iif(<some condition>, Nothing, "YourReportName"). When the condition is true, the link won't be there at all. Screenshot Boyan Penev --- http://www.bp-msbi.com

Hi Jamie, Have you solved your issue following Boyan's reply, I think it should be the right direction for your question, if you are not clear about the detail steps, please follow these: 1. Right-click the textbox(object), then select TextboxProperties. 2. Move to Action tab, then select Go to Report option, then you need to specify a report. 3. Click fx button besides the textbox of specify a report, and then type in the expression given by Boyan. If you have any question, please feel free to ask. Thanks, Challen FuPlease remember to mark the replies as answers if they help and unmark them if they provide no help.
