I am reading Rob Collie's Dax book, got PowerBi installed and all in all loving it.
Everywhere I read though you can take data from many sources and I think this is great but can i ask please, if I have created new data in PowerPivot and PowerBI and want to store it what is the best solution?
I am a home Pro user so I don't have the work servers to use I do have a Pro Plus subscription. It's just i can't see many good articles on growing models and storing data based on data I may have created or aggregated.
OLAP cubes seem limited I may be wrong haven't had much cause to use them and Alexander and Jelen in their book seemed to indicate they were to an extent.
If I have the resources should I be using MSSQL, mongo or MYSQL with the Excel plugin? What is more perform-ant and best to integrate into wor
