Computers in wrong site
Anybody know why servers in Site 010 (US) would show up in 020 (Europe)? I have checked my Boundries (IP Ranges), and they are correrct. My Discovery is pointing to an OU in Europe, yet I'm seeing servers from the US in there and the US servers have an SCCM Agent installed with a 020 site code. This is a new environment - SCCM never existed in the company before now.

Easiest would be to login interactively to a server that somehow was assigned to 020, when you think it should be 010; and initiate a auto-discovery on it; and watch the logs. See what the logs say.Standardize. Simplify. Automate.

Hi - I would suggest you to login to one of the client and check the locationservices.log for details. Also, from SCCM console, right click and go to properties of one of the system record and see the details assigned site code, IP range details. Over there we can find some more details.Anoop C Nair - This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees, and confers no rights. |Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Clients do not change their site assignment automatically (if the client is already installed) regardless of boundary settings. Did you install them using the SMSSITECODE=XYZ property or was it set to AUTO?Torsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de
