Computer Verification: Module Error (For a NAS???)
OK, this is wierd. My SCE server is reporting a warning of Computer Verification: Module Error and when I read the details on it I get "Computer verification failure for Machine Name: ngs3nas.jea3dcs.com is 0x8007007C. The system call level is not correct".The NGS3NAS is a just that, a NAS that is incorporated into the active directory. It's a ReadyNAS NV+ to be exact. I just added it as a Network Device under Device Management in SCE.Should adding it tothe managed NetworkDevice sectionclear that Warning?

Post the full alert text and the rule/monitor it came from if you would please...that is a bit unusual.Pete Zerger, MVP-OpsMgr and SCE | http://www.systemcentercentral.com

OK, it appears that the error has not re-appeared after I added the NAS to theManaged Network deviceslist.

Discovery is key. SCE will ignore traps from SNMP-enabled devices that have not been discovered.Pete Zerger, MVP-OpsMgr and SCE | http://www.systemcentercentral.com
