Component Server on DP
I have a DP that does not have the Component Server installed on it and it seems that this DP has a problem sending packages to clients. Is a possible root cause for this problem?

The DP do not have any Configuration Manager services running. Have you checked the distmgr.log file on the site server?Kent Agerlund | My blogs: http://blog.coretech.dk/author/kea/ and http://scug.dk/ | Twitter @Agerlund | Linkedin: /kentagerlund

I did not notice that. I have checked the distmgr. The distribution seems to work on one machine, but not two others. What should I look for if it is a client error?

Are you facing any issues in client side? If yes, please check locationservices.log or cas.log to get more details about client side package issue?Anoop C Nair - This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees, and confers no rights. |Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. I apologize for double posting. I haven't solved the problem yet. The steps that are given in the forum have been relatively redundant (i.e. see distmgr.log). I'm not sure what I'm looking for. I'm still learning SCCM plus I'm working with non-Windows clients.
