Hi,While analysing three Identity Management products, I understood that FIM is some what lagging in terms of "publishing workflow as web service", "built in report designer" etc in comparision say IBM and Oracle IM latest versions. Where can I find a comparison study which states that FIM leads in certain area from its competitors.Thanks

With FIM 2010 the Microsoft Identity Management platform will be pretty complete compared to the competitors but for a fair view of this I recommend you to contact any of the independent analyst companies working in this area like Garner, Burton Group, Kuppinger Cole or maybe a Microsoft Partner. Earlier versions have not been as feature rich as the main competitors but with FIM 2010 this has changed, you have Workflows, Web services, self service, built in group management and a lot more. For report design you'll have to turn to for example SQL Server Reporting Services that is a part of SQL Server 2008 and required by FIM 2010 but remember SQL Server is also a complete Business Intelligence platform and from what other manufacturer will you get that?
