Common Practice Annoys Me, Probably Others
Many websites I encounter abuse ECMAscript such that copy/paste is disabled for certain forms text boxes. I use random generated passwords of great length. And it is a real pain to type these in manually - twice. People apparently are too stupid or careless to type anything in correctly without typing it in twice. So what's all this about disabling the paste function?  The usual answer is "security reasons." I'm supposed to back off and slink away satisfied with that answer. I want more information. This is a security issue because I want to change my password and I want to enter it correctly. Twice if absolutely necessary. And I don't want to have to type all 20 characters in. If there is a security issue then disabling the paste function isn't
