I am trying to figure out a way to create a comment field where a project owner can quickly edit comments for multiple projects at once. Currently my solution is to define a custom text field as the comment field, then have them open the projects together in a master project for bulk editing. However the text field has a 256 character limit. The Notes field is more suitable as there is no size limit, but it cannot be rolled up to viewed in Project Center, and cannot be bulk edited. Is there a better solution than what I am doing now?

Hi Eric,

The "notes" field can definitely be added in the project center views, such as the summary view. Then in Project Pro enter a comment/description on the project summary row (row 0) by double clicking on the row and navigating to the notes tab. After publishing, you'll see your comment in the notes column added to the project center view.

Note also that there are 3rd-party tools which allows bulk editing project custom fields in PWA in a view similar to the project center.
