Hey there,
we are running a lync2010 standard deployment and want to migrate to lync 2013. The first server is up and ready and I want to assign the certificates. I created new one for the internal webservices by using "request certificates" - that adds all necessary SANs to the internal certificate. But as for my lync2010 server I guess I should use the public certificate sip.domain.xx for the external webservices. The certificate I use for lync2010 also contains the necessary SANs lync2010 asks for. But lync2013 seems to need some more
I get prompted:
WARNING: The subject alternative names "sip.domain.xx,Webconf.domain.xx,Lyncweb.domain.xx,Meet.domain.xx,owa.domain.xx,mail.domain.xx,autodiscover.domain.xx"
of the certificate "C6D1B3F51192ADC53F6C6DF2025F25578D43D331" do not contain the computed alternative names "meet.domain.xx,lyncweb.domain.xx,Lyncdiscover.domain.xx.
WARNING: Set-CSCertificate failed.
It seems, that two of those SANs are just written in capital letters and one (lyncdiscover) is missing. Do I need a new certificate? I guess I can't use a wildcard-certificate here (we also got a wildcard in our company).
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Best regards
Marcel
