Column headers repeating on each page works in print view but not in the standard view?
I'm using SSRS 2008. The report is fairly standard with the exception of a few groupings which I have set to "RepeatOnNewPage" (True) so that when the group is split by pages the group header repeats. The primary column header row is set so that it should repeat on each page via the following properties: FixedData True KeepTogether True KeepWithGroup After RepeatOnNewPage True On every report I've developed in the past these setting have ensured the column header appeared on every page in the standard view (web or in BIDs), print view and on the printed page, yet in this case in the standard view the column headers only appear on the 1st page. Also the Group settings to "RepeatOnNewPage" aren't working in the standard view either. Are the properties related to what works in standard view versus the print view, or does anyone have any suggestions or help? Thanks, Dan

I stumbled onto a fix but I'm not really sure why, I need to test it more to understand the correlation. Basically by setting the KeepWithGroup property to "False" on the "Static" Row Group members that are below the top (Column Header) member down to the Group that was set to RepeatOnNewPage appears to resolve the issue. Sorry I don't have more yet but I need to play with it a bit more to fully understand why it responds this way. Dan

Hi Dan, If you need our further support, you could need to share the report with us to repro the issue. I tried a report with same settings you described, everything works well. thanks, Jerry

Hi Jerry, I may have to do that, especially with an issue that I'm now having with another report that has several column groupings. I'm having serious trouble getting the either the column headers or the row headers to repeat on each following page. I'm not sure if there is any good visual key to the "Static" objects that appear on the Advanced Groupings or not? It is very difficult once there are several of the "Static" items to understand which need to be have the properties set to enable the repeating headers. I've read several help articles and I have a couple books but none really show/describe the logic of what each item is or plays in the hierarchy. If you know of a good example please let me know, I really want to understand this completely. My report consumers are very picky! Thank you very much. Dan
