Collections Not Updating
It seeme collections are no longer updating from the console, either on the server console or on a remote console. When I try and update a collection the icon changes to an hour glass and remains stuck as an hour glass. I can't see any errors in the colleval.log. I guess this could be a database issue, any ideas on how to troubleshoot this furthe. I see from other posts that a hotfix is suggested. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/982399 Here is an entry from the colleval.log when I try and update a problem collection. **********~Processing file ASH00370.UDC SMS_COLLECTION_EVALUATOR 28/09/2011 09:24:13 4492 (0x118C) Update flags for collection: 0xF, ChangeCount=3, EvaluationCRCChanged=TRUE, ScheduleCRCChanged=FALSE, AwaitingRefresh=TRUE SMS_COLLECTION_EVALUATOR 28/09/2011 09:24:13 4492 (0x118C) ReplicateCollectionToSubSites(pszSiteID=ASH00370, dwType=SITE_UPDATE, pszFileName=NULL, pszToSiteCode=NULL, bDeltaRepl=1) SMS_COLLECTION_EVALUATOR 28/09/2011 09:24:13 4492 (0x118C) No Primary subsites found. There are no obvious errors in there. Does creating a new collection work? Have you already tried restarting the server?Torsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de

I have booted the server yes and get the same issue, new collections seem ok but still get the hourglass on any collection (exisiting or new)I update and refresh. I noticed this issue this morning. I did install a hotfix on Monday, wonder if it could be related ? This is what I installed to address an issue with OSD and updates. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2509007
