Co-authoring in SharePoint 2013

Hi,

How do I setup co-authoring on the client and server side in SharePoint so multiple users can edit a word document at the same time?  Also, I'd like to enable versioning with this.

In order to have co-authoring working, the following needs to be configured on your library:-

  • Require Checkin/Checkout must be disabled
  • Versioning must be enabled (major/minor recommended Except for OneNote)

THanks, are any specific settings to the desktop browser required?

You just need the right version of Office.. 2010 or 2013.
