First, We build SP13 corporate site&subsites  using server name like http://151vssp1/sites/home

Then we created a cname record "cloud" for  DNS object 151vssp1 and picks up the correct IP address.

Now, if I type   http://cloud/ ,it redirects to http://151vssp1/ which is root and not
used site collection.  How do I redirect http://151vssp1/ OR http://cloud/

to http://151vssp1/sites/home ?THANK YOU!

You should configure alternate access mappings in SharePoint central admin to handle both URLs.
