Clients going to remote DP instead of local DP

Hi there,

I have a HQ and DR site both with DP's installed. I have boundary groups configured for each site via AD sites.

I have listed both HQ and DR as applicable DP's in both boundary groups.

My understanding was the a client at the HQ site would primarily get content from the HQ DP due to the MP picking up the HQ DP as being local to the HQ client (same AD site) but on testing I can see that the HQ client is using the DR DP for content.

Any ideas? I must be missing a trick somewhere.

Cheers

Hi,

You may configure the network connection speed to remote site as slow.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

I did consider configuring this but I read that there is an issue with setting DP's as slow links under the boundary groups, in that it then reports both DP's as remote during content transfer.

I'll test it myself.....

Cheers
