Clients Installed on client devices but the CM2012R2 server says no client

I'm working with the evaluation version of Configuration Manager 2012R2. I've gotten through to the point where I install the clients, which I have set up to push install. When I check each computer's task manager, I see that ccmsetup.exe is indeed running. However, the Configuration Management Console shows No Client for every device on our network. I'm working with about 80 devices in total all through one Active Directory site (the sole Active Directory for our network). I haven't been able to find much help on this yet and was wondering if anyone could offer any possible solutions?

The ccmsetup.exe is the installer that's installing the client. For more information about the client installation (status) check the ccmsetup folder in C:\Windows.

Looked around online but came up with a number of wildly different solutions. Does anything jump out to you about this?

"Client is not allowed to use PKI issued certificate thus it can not talk to HTTPS server"

Did you perform a default (next...next...next) install of ConfigMgr? If so, you've configured the site to use only HTTPS client communication which requires PKI issued certificates on all clients and client facing site systems.

You can disable this by going into the site properties on the client communication tab and selecting use HTTPS or HTTP and also going to the MP and DP configured during installation and chaning them to HTTP.

Hi Jason,

Thanks for the help! I'm working with a standalone primary server (small environment - 80 or so devices). I had "use HTTPS or HTTP" turned on in the site properties, but I did still have HTTPS selected in the Distribution Point properties. I changed the setting to HTTP and tried running the ccmsetup.exe file again on my client.

Here's the new end-of-the-log info I get:

In site settings (on the client communication tab) make sure you do not have the checkbox selected to use a cert if one is present.

Tried running the ccmsetup.exe file again, and I am back to getting the same ccmsetup.log output as the first time:

You said you changed the DP to use HTTP, what about the MP?

Whoops...duh.

I changed the MP over to HTTP but it didn't take right away and gave me a new error in the log, which I looked up online. Turns out I had to uninstall the MP role, restart the server, and reinstall the MP role...but the clients are up and reporting now!!

Thanks so much for your help!
