Client version not updating
I had 400 computers report that they were using client version 2.50. pushed out the latest version to this collection and got 80 failures, tried to update these manually but they are still reporting as having the older version. Where should I be looking to solve this issue? Thanks.

Initiate a hardware inventory on one of those clients and see if the HINV makes it to the server (open Resource Explorer and see if "workstation status" / "last hinv date" gets updated at all).

I get the message Hardware Inventory Cycle(resync)was successfully triggered on "computer name". the date and time are then updated. I did this to several of the computers and they all were successful. I had read that deleting the SCCMInsallCheck1.txt would initiate the client update but this did not seem to help.

have you checked the ccmsetup.log file and verified that the installation took place?Kent Agerlund | http://scug.dk/members/Agerlund/default.aspx | The Danish community for System Center products

found error in the ccmexec.log. the advertisment referenced does not exist, references the correct package. rerunning the advertisment to this collection.
