Client status is inactive in console.

In admin console of SCCM some client status has gone "inactive". What is reason of this status and how to address it?

Also if health check fails what is the affect on that client?

Thanks

Are there any server errors? Look at Monitoring > System Status > Site Status & Component Status.

Any red? Right click and check the messages for errors.

Have you looked at the log files on offending clients?

ClientLocation.log

ClientIDManagerStartup.log

LocationServices.log

You will find the log files here

C:\Windows\CCM\Logs

Run the following command

http://<ServerName>/sms_mp/.sms_aut?mplist

Replace <ServerName> with your Primary Site Server name

What result do you get?
