Client push installing to servers - BAD
We just setup a SCCM infrastructure. In the client push properties I selected only 'Workstations' and 'Site Systems' and did not select Servers. But the client is installing on all the servers. Is there a setting that was overlooked? Any ideas. In discovery methods, I selected every site in the company (including server OU's) and am using AD Sys discovery, AD Sys group discover, AD Security group discovery and Heartbeat.

What client installation method(s) are you using?Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | http://blogs.catapultsystems.com/jsandys/default.aspx | Twitter @JasonSandys

Client push from the SCCM console. We have it running on every AD site in the company, which would include server OU's.

Automatic or manual. Those settings only apply to automatic client push. If you right-click on an object or collection and select Install client, i.e., you are using manual client push, those settings are not considered.Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | http://blogs.catapultsystems.com/jsandys/default.aspx | Twitter @JasonSandys
