I am trying to install client using client push installation. All of the installations have been unsuccessful and after checking the ccmSetup.log, it is saying that

MSI: Service 'SMS Agent Host' (CcmExec) could not be installed.  Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services.

MSI: Setup was unable to update the service configuration
The error code is 80070430

File C:\Windows\ccmsetup\{72875A95-4007-4DAC-88D8-66366F9A5045}\client.msi installation failed. Error text: ExitCode: 1603
Action: CcmSetServiceConfig.
ErrorMessages:
Service 'SMS Agent Host' (CcmExec) could not be installed.  Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services.

Can anyone help me with this.  I have already tried removing the old repository and removing the SMS Client and reinstalling numerous times.

Thanks for the response . I am using a service account with admin rights and it has been local admin rights on the Desktops we are pushing to.

Just now, i have seen that the client has been installed on the system( I can access the software center from the Microsoft System Center) but in the logs, it still shows the same error as i mentioned.

Did you run a Task sequence on this computers?

Do you have something like Deep freeze on it?

Have you tryied to manually delete the service?

So you are saying that this server was build by a TS. and This TS might not have completed, correctly?

why Not tried to removed the service manually as a test?

No jones. I have installed the client using client push. TS is just used for the server build .
