Client Push Error
I am attempting to just push client from and to its primary site. I've triple checked permissions in IIS and I have network access account set. Here is the trace, the last sentence being the key. I'm running this setup without internet connectivity but that shouldn't matter. Here it is.....and lastly yes the files are in that path.Ccmsetup is being restarted due to an administrative action. Installation files will be reset and downloaded again. ccmsetup Failed to send HTTP request. (Error at WinHttpSendRequest: 12007)DownloadFileByWinHTTP encountered an unrecoverable error. The language specific BITS version wasn't found (Failed to download 'WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB923845-x64-ENU.exe' from 'http://sccm.usbe-sccm.int.com/CCM_Client/x64/BITS25' with error code 0x80004005). Thanks for any help in advance

Did you try the web browser test? I.e., connect to http://sccm.usbe-sccm.int.com/CCM_Client/x64/BITS25 in a web browser. The 12007 error means that the server name or address could not be resolved, which would explain the download failures.

Well, I know this is an old post, but every page that I am looking at refers to this post. I am getting the same errors: <![LOG[Failed to send HTTP request. (Error at WinHttpSendRequest: 12007)]LOG]!><time="00:02:11.014+300" date="01-21-2010" component="ccmsetup" context="" type="2" thread="7392" file="ccmsetup.cpp:5745"> <![LOG[DownloadFileByWinHTTP encountered an unrecoverable error.]LOG]!><time="00:02:11.014+300" date="01-21-2010" component="ccmsetup" context="" type="3" thread="7392" file="ccmsetup.cpp:5792"> <![LOG[Sending Fallback Status Point message, STATEID='308'.]LOG]!><time="00:02:11.014+300" date="01-21-2010" component="ccmsetup" context="" type="1" thread="7392" file="ccmsetup.cpp:9169"> <![LOG[sending with winhttp failed; 80072ee7]LOG]!><time="00:02:11.014+300" date="01-21-2010" component="FSPStateMessage" context="" type="3" thread="7392" file="fsputillib.cpp:1253"> I am able to connect to http://<SCCM server>/CCM_Client/x64/BITS25, and it lists all the files that are in that directory. This is a first time install, but stuck on installing the client remotely.

I hate bringing back an old thread but seeming that this one didn't really finish with a answer for the second question I would post what I did to fix it. If you go to IIS and expand Web Sites > CCM_Client Right click CCM_Client and select Permissions. Add 'Everyone' and give them Read permissions. Apply it and test a client push.
