Client Push

Hey Gents,

i am using client push to upgrade SC07 clients to SC12, i noticed that the object is still sowing in SC07 with client at the same time in SC12.

is this normal?

If your client has been upgraded successfully in that case it will show in both until in 2007 it becomes stale record and gets cleaned by scheduled task.

CM07 is not aware that the client was "moved" to CM12. It's the same (from CM07's view) as if the client is just offline because it is no longer reporting to CM07.

No, a client agent can only point to single site. The fact that the resource is in the CM07 console is meaningless. There is no way for ZCM07 to know that the client is no longer reporting to it as there is no "death" message as Torsten pointed out. Simply delete the migrated client from the CM07 console or leave them if you need access to data about them in CM07, it doesn't really matter since the client is not reporting to CM07 anymore.

Hi,

If clients show inactive, please check if these clients can communicate with MP by LocationServices.log and CcmMessaging.log on the client.
