Client Install

I am in the process of migrating from SCCM 2007 to 2012.  I have several collections that has a PC or two in those collections.  When I do a site wide deployment how to I make sure if sccm client is 2012 do not remove it. Below is my client push properties, will this prevent the reinstall if sccm client is 5.x?

SMSSITECODE=EHC SMSSLP=SCCM12.domain.xyz SMSMP=sccm12.domain.xyz

Normally you place all the CCMSETUP.EXE option before any of the MSIEXEC. So the /logon should be first.

Yes this will stop the installation of the client if it detect the a client 2012.

Never try this in the push install only in a script.

If you are using the right click push option. You have option here to uninstall or not as well.

Hope this help

Using the push I do not needed because the push method will recognize the client is installed already?

Yes, client push does detect an existing client on a target machine.
