Client Deployment
Currently, my organization has been bought by another and we have addeda 10.x.x.x IP scheme to our network. This has been added into SCCM in the boundaries and, in fact, some have gotten the client. Yesterday, I have noticed a whole set of computers on this new network that dont get the Confi Mgr installation. It will work fine if I manually install the client and then manually add the site code. Any ideas what to look for? It will not push the client or site code to computers. Thanks.

are the new clients in a location where they can read the published ConfigMgr information? Can they read the schema? Do you have a server locator point? how do you install the clients?Kent Agerlund | My blogs: http://blog.coretech.dk/author/kea/ and http://scug.dk/ | Twitter @Agerlund | Linkedin: /kentagerlund

Yes, they can read all the info and, if you manually install the client and manualy put the site code in, it works fine. There is only one SCCM server in my organization. Usually the clients auto-install but for some reason, they arent installing to these particular PCs and I can only think it has to do with the new IP schema.

Interestingly, the CCM folder was on the client machine and in the Locationservices.log, I found: LSGetAssignedSiteFromSLP : No site code returned from SLP In the StatusAgent.log, I found: HandleFSPCcmHttpStatus - Failed to retrieve internet, proxy or assigned MP. Assuming 'xxxxxx' is not a relevant MP.

As stupid as this sounds, I additionally entered entries in SITE BOUNDARIES by IP range, which covered the same networks in the IP SUBNET entries, and it is populating them with the client and site code. Thanks all anyways!
