Clicking on new document takes to _layouts/wpribbon.aspx instead of _layouts/CreatePage.aspx
Hi RaviChandra, I suggest you use SharePoint designer to open your site. Find the page you create. If the page you cant find, it is said the page is not create successfully. You can delete your custom page layout, then recreate it. The custom page layout is also may be caused this. Once you have created the content type and page layout, the next step is to control the placement of information on the page. The key part to understand is the Edit Mode Panel. You can refer to the following link. http://blogs.msdn.com/b/kaevans/archive/2011/04/02/page-layouts-in-sharepoint.aspx If the problem is still, I only suggest you to recreate Knowledge base library. Dont use other library change to Knowledge base library. Thanks, Jack

I have Pages Library with the below modifications Renamed it as Knowledge base libraryAdded a Custom Page layout.Created a Custom View.Set the tool bar type to No Toolbar for the custom view, so that I hide the Add New item link. But after setting to toolbar type to No Toolbar, when I create a new page (from the ribbon) it gives options enter Name, title, select the layout. But after hitting on Create button, a blank page appears with the below URL. Note: The page gets created but blank. <siteurl>/_layouts/wpribbon.aspx?WebPartId=g%5F446daf63%5F2415%5F4dbc%5Fb180%5Fb4506e3f18a6&PageComponentId=WebPartWPQ2&List=7a152cc2%2D341c%2D4cb1%2D852f%2D8f77f34fe25b&View=446daf63%2D2415%2D4dbc%2Db180%2Db4506e3f18a6&FileUrl=%2FFoodOSS%2FPages%2FForms%2FMy%20Submission%2Easpx Any links/reference would be great help.Ravi
