Clearing Survey Results.
Anyone know how to do this?I've created a survey and it's now over. I want to reuse the same survey, but I need to clear the results first. How can I do this?

There is no way ofresetting a Survey..it is like every other SharePoint list, and once you fill that list up with data there isn't a way to clear all the data beside manually going in and deleting each item thus losing the history of the survey. You could try to savethe survey as a list (think you need to be admin at top site)You coudl also try to export the list to excel, empty the workbook and save it back to SharePoint.Daniel Bugday

I don't believe this will reset the count on the survey though. The number of results will continue from where it left off. I remember a posting with this issue a few months back. You will probably find it best to recreate the survey. If you know you are going to reuse it often, create a list temlate after you finish the questions.Shannon Bray - MCT, MCPD, MCTS, MCITP

The easiest way to clear your results without redoing your survey that i know of is by choosing the survey and selecting show
all responses. From there (with editor permissions in place) you can go ahead and select the response (or use the pull down menu attached to the response link) and delete the response. This will "reset" the counter without deleting your results.

Open site manager by adding _layouts/sitemanager.aspx in the url. Navigate down to your survey.
Select all responses and go to actions--> delete.
