Cleanup collectons after moving in the hierarchy
Just moved a primary site (PR2) which originally attached to site PR1 to directly attach to the central site CER. The moving is successful. Now I need to cleanup objects originally replicated from PR1. The packages and advertisements cleanups did not take too long time. However, the cleaning up collections seems tedious. The delection of collections from the console can only be done one by one and each takes about a minute. I am just wondering is there a quick way to delete all collections with collection ID being PR1xxxxx with a VB script or a SQL script? thanks

The ConfigMgr SDK has an example script that does just this: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc143328.aspx. Jason | http://blog.configmgrftw.com | Twitter @JasonSandys

Thanks Jason. This script delets one collection with a given collectionID. It is a good start-point.
