I am working with Sharepoint 2010 and am having troubles checking in multiple files when doing so through the web. I do not have a problem when working within the network. We use the local drafts folder because it opens the document in a seperate window. Not using the local drafts folder opens the document in the same page and therefore I lose the ability to open a second document. Usually more than one document needs to be open for editing at one time. Is there a workaround to this problem so that users can check in multiple documents through the web? I can checkin one at a time without a hitch so why can it not find the local draft folder when checking in more than one? This is the error I get and I get it the same number iof times as the number of documents I have open. "This document was checked out to your local drafts Folder but the local copy could not be found or is on a different computer. Upload the local changes or discard your checkout to continue editing."
