Channel cmd's stop working
Hi I have observed, several times, that cmd's which are supposed to run from a channel/subscription stops working. When i restart the healthservice on my rms-server, all the cmd's are running again - including those, that were supposed to be running earlier ?? Today cmd's stopped running at 00:15 - when i restarted healthservice, all cmd's from 00:15 to "now" where executed. This is a huge problem to me, as it is used for creating incidents in our helpdesk system. What happens, and what can I do to monitor, if cmd's are hanging/queued - and is there any way to prevent this from happening again. ? best regards Ivan K.

Hi Ivan, Are you getting any errors in Operations Manager event log, regarding the queue capacity?

I have found an (two) alert 5304 with the text : Local health service is not healthy. Alert flow is stalled with pending acknowledgement. And one alert 5300 with the text : Local health service is not healthy. Entity state change flow is stalled with pending acknowledgement. Plenty of alert 2115 with text a ala A Bind Data Source in Management Group xxxhas posted items to the workflow, but has not received a response in 27540 seconds. This indicates a performance or functional problem with the workflow. Workflow Id : Microsoft.SystemCenter.CollectEventData This night some of myl colleagues have switched to a new firewall, which must be the reason why connection to database was lost. But why is healthservice not recovering itself ? I have observed the same situation on different days, where nobody has touched the firewalls !! ( but i dont have any date/logging for this !!)
