Change the default Windows 2008 R2 Username length from 20

Hi,

Can anyone help me in increasing the length on username in windows server 2008 R2 ?

I can create more than 20 letters, but when I try to access the shared files on the server, it asks me for the login details. I enter the username I've created, but it is not accepting, but one I deleted some and make it 20 letters, it get access without even changing the username on the server !

Hope that you've got the point..
