Change sign in procedure.

I would like to eliminate signing in with the microsoft password and use a local password. Windows 10 already has my local password from windows 8, however I get the message incorrect password and have to use the microsoft password. I cannot find a way of eliminating using the microsoft password. How can I do this.

In addition, in sign in options never is ticked. With this option when my computer wakes up there is no need to enter password. I would like to change this.

Here's how to create another account on your PC for a child or someone else who doesn't have a Microsoft account.

  1. In the search box on the taskbar, type settings and select Settings.

  2. Select Accounts > Other user accounts.

  3. Under Manage other accounts, select Add an account.

  4. At the bottom of the page, select Sign in without a Microsoft account.

  5. Select Local account.

  6. Enter a name for the new account. If you want this person to sign in with a password, enter and verify the password, add a password hint, and then select Next.

  7. Select Finish.

To require password when waking from sleep, you can check Requiring a Password following steps in this article: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/7771/prevent-windows-asking-for-a-password-on-wake-up-from-sleepstandby/

For the first issue, have you connected your local account to Microsoft account?

If so, please disconnect it, and try to login the store app required Microsoft account separately:
