Change article text color: Could not complete the operation due to error 8007ffff
Hi All, I have the following issue. When I'm on a publishing site on our SharePoint 2007 environment. And I want to create or edit an article, I'm not able to change any of the colors. I receive the following error. As far as I know nothing has changed. Any Ideas? Hi, Thanks to share your post. For the issue, you may try to do the follow steps: Uninstall all the additional toolbars installed on the computer from Control Panel -> Programs and Features. Most of the times, the toolbars will cause the issue. Even after uninstalling all the Toolbars, if you still face the same issue then: - Clear the Internet Cache. (Tools, Internet options, delete files) - Repair or Uninstall/Reinstall Mozilla, via Programs and Features. - Uninstall MSN Add-Ons, if they are installed. - Refresh the MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Components) by downloading and installing them from: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=6c050fe3-c795-4b7d-b037-185d0506396c&displaylang=en. Hope this could help you! Leo

Hi Leo, I'm having this problem within my Internet Explorer, so uninstalling mozilla is not necessary. It's even nog installed on my laptop :)£ I cleared my internet cache and I even installed IE 9. Still nothing... Any other ideas ? Kind regards, Hans

Hi, I have found a workaround. Press the 'Edit Html source'-button in the toolpane. A pop-up will appear with the html, press there the same button again, now you will be able to edit the text in rich mode in that same window & yes the color picker will work! Let me know if it was ok for you to. Grtz Vandeput
