Hello, Setting 'DelayValidation=True' for package doesn't stop validation in VS2008 because each Task still has 'DelayValidation=False' (default) and data flow tasks have 'ValidateExternalMedatadata=True' (default). Is there a way to disable/enable all validations package-wide without having to change "DelayValidation" property individually for all executables, and "ValidateExternalMetadata" for all data flow tasks? There is not, aside from parsing and manipulating the package XML directly. You can select multiple Tasks at once, and common properties will be settable - this may allow you to set this property across several Tasks at once - but perhaps not your entire package. Talk to me now on
