Change Content Type settings using PowerShell

Hi everybody,

We have a SharePoint solution that is deployed to several customers.

After the deployment we need to modify an existing custom Content Type and basically change it's URL of the document template.

We cannot do this manually for each customer and for some business reasons the update of WSPs is not allowed so we can only change this with PowerShell.

I didn't manage to find a lot of info on the internet about such a procedure but maybe there is someone here that can give us some help or hints.

Thank you,

Florin

Hi Florin,

Please refer to my blog and Technet Gallery.

I have written the solution for Office 365 (SharePoint Online).  But you can download and modify for SharePoint 2013 with minor update.

Please mark it as answered, if your problem resolved or helpful.
