We need to change the password for the admin account used to install system center. Can it cause problems for any kind of services?

Changing the password should not cause any issues.

If System Center components are running as domain accounts, you'll need to make sure the password in the service settings (services.msc) are updated. If you have any Run As accounts for the domain account you will also need to ensure the password is updated.

Each System Center component has specific guidance, for example in Service Manager:

App Controller doesn't need anything beyond making the changes in service settings.
